The TC35/40/45D repair manual (set of 3) cost about $210. I decided to order (book #1) for $75 to see what it was about. In my opinion I wasted my money. The 00 general section was an elaborate repeat of Chapter 1 in our owners manual and an expanded specifications section. The Section 10-Engine was 147 pages of good info for those of you who want to do an engine job or replace injectors, valves and etc. Section 10 Clutch is for those of you with a clutch, Section 21 is for those of you with a standard transmission, and Section 23 has the transfer case and drive shaft.Note. these are the ONLY sections, I expected ,inocently, that there would be many other sections which would be of interest to me. There was not. There is not a section 2 or 3 or 4 or 11 or 12 or 22.I will never live long enough nor will I want to give my TC35D a motor job or valve job.For my needs, The only value I found in this Repair Manual was a total of 10 pages of troubleshooting tips/correction flo chart.Book 2 would be for those of you who want to tear apart your HST, differential, or hydraulic system. Book 3 covers power steering, electrical and body.Thought for the day "save your money and let your dealer fix it" Have a great day, Frank

Frank: Thanks for the input on the repair manuals. I always buy them for my cars/trucks and find them useful over the life of the cars/trucks. But they don't cost nearly so much. I will scrub the idea of the buying the repair manuals for my TC40D4 and buy something I'm more likely to need, like a grill guard! Dave ....
